Nurturing wellness beyond the clinic walls
Health isn't just treating what's wrong. It's making sure people have the knowledge to stay well in the first place.
Happy Periods
Our Happy Periods Project, run in partnership with Sanitation First India, has reached over 135,000 students - tackling the silence and stigma around menstruation head-on. Girls get accurate information, most were never given at home; and because school students carry what they learn back to their families, the awareness doesn't stop at the classroom door. We extend this work beyond schools too — in partnership with the TFL CSR Initiative and ZOYCARE Foundation, we run menstrual hygiene awareness sessions that include distributing reusable menstrual hygiene products, encouraging safe, sustainable menstrual care.
A 2025 survey of adolescent girls in Indian government schools found that while most had enough sanitary materials, only
AM Foundation's centres exist to close exactly this gap - free, community-based primary care in the neighbourhoods where our member companies operate.

Health & Hygiene Training
Our health and hygiene awareness programmes have trained over 2,000 sanitation workers across Tiruvallur and Poonmallee, and reached 282+ community members through PHCC health worker-led sessions.
Nutrition Mix
We also address a need that's easy to overlook: nutrition. Since October 2020, our Nutrition Mix programme in Abirami Nagar has supported over 4,598 people — children under 5, adolescent girls, pregnant women, and the elderly — with essential nutritional supplementation for those most vulnerable to deficiency.
Women's Health Awareness
Preventive care extends to women's health more broadly. Through our Women's Health and Breast Cancer Awareness programmes, we train healthcare staff and community health workers on self-examination techniques, early detection of breast and cervical cancer, and the value of regular screening and HPV vaccination — equipping frontline teams to carry that knowledge into every community they serve.
Male Health Initiative
Men often delay seeking care until a problem is too far along - a pattern our Male Health Initiative is built to break. Through awareness sessions, preventive screenings, and consultations at our AM Healthcare Centres, we encourage men to seek treatment early, move past the stigma around delayed care, and adopt healthier habits.
Dedicated Community Male Assistants engage directly with male beneficiaries - identifying health needs, encouraging screening and treatment, sharing health information, and following through with referrals and continued care. It's focused, personal outreach that brings men the information and healthcare they need, closer to home.
